  1. How do I log in to IMCA Skills?

    You need an IMCA Account, which also lets you access our website, services portal and shop. You can create an IMCA Account via the login screen. If you work for a member company, you will gain full access to member resources based on your email domain automatically.

    However, access to IMCA Skills is currently limited to the Dynamic Positioning CPD programme - please visit our services portal to manage or update your access.

  2. Can I use IMCA Skills on my mobile device?

    Apps for Android and iOS are currently being finalised and will be available soon, including the ability to work offline.

    In the meantime, the web interface is mobile optimised and can be used on mobile devices.

  3. What courses are available?

    At present, only the Dynamic Positioning CPD programme is available within IMCA Skills.

    New learning content and features will be added to IMCA Skills this year for member companies and for the many thousands of individuals working across our industry.

    Other online courses and skills content are available on our website.

  4. Where are my courses?

    Visit My courses to view your current access.

    Enter the DP CPD programme to start your next module, which will then shown in your courses list.

    Previous completions are shown in your profile, including digital badges and certificate access.

    If you have not renewed your DP CPD access, course access will be based on the dates of your previous module purchases via the Nautical Institute.

  5. What's happened to my EdApp access?

    All user and completion data has been migrated to IMCA Skills, with EdApp access withdrawn.

    When you log in with your IMCA Account, you will find your previous learning history and any current course access available automatically.

  6. How do I find out more about DP CPD?

    DP operators and other key DP personnel can subscribe to our flagship programme to maintain their technical knowledge of the latest industry guidance, regulations and operational best practice.

    Accredited by the Nautical Institute and the CPD Certification Service, it’s the best way to meet CPD requirements for DP operator revalidation.
